ResoNation is a late-summer celebration of rhythm, artistry, and connection on Lopez Island.
Gathering to uplift musicians, honor community, and send one final wave of warmth and sound through the islands before the season turns.
A curated lineup of regional and island talent, artisan vendors, local food trucks, somatic experiences, and shared space where music, land, and people meet in harmony.

Passes
Join us for a weekend of rhythm, art, and connection, at LaLaLand on Lopez Island.

Friday, 9.19, 5 pm to midnight

Saturday, 9.20, 11 am to midnight

Sunday, 9.21, 11 am to 5 pm
Full weekend and single-day passes available.
Camping is tent-only and sold separately unless bundled. This is an all-ages event.

La La Land is a community gathering space where music, art, and nature intertwine in perfect harmony. Our festival grounds carry a rich history on Lopez Island, serving as a vibrant backdrop for creativity and self-expression. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, La La Land invites you to immerse yourself in a world of community, artistic discovery, and musical celebration.
Our event is ADA accessible. Please let the front entrance atendant know your needs upon arrival.
AMENITIES

Camping is tent-only—no car camping, RVs, or camper vans allowed.
-
A shuttle will be available to take you to your car (located under 10 minutes away) during festival hours.

Food will be available for purchase with local food trucks/vendors. We strongly encourage you to pack enough food for your dietary needs through the weekend. Should you need supplies, town is 7 miles away and cars will be located off-site, accessible by shuttle.

Water for drinking and basic camping needs will be provided. Please note, there are no showers on-site, but free showers are available in the village.

Bike parking available on festival site.

ADA porta-potties will be available on-site.

Alcohol will be available for purchase in the beer garden.
TRAVEL
The festival site, La La Land, is a 20-minute drive from the ferry. The location will be shared upon ticket purchase. Please note that you will need to take a ferry from Anacortes to Lopez Island if you are driving.
Ferry Tips:
We recommend you get a ferry reservation ASAP. Reservations open at 7 AM, 2 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days in advance.
The ferry ride is 30 minutes. To ensure timely arrival for the opening ceremony at 5 pm, we recommend the 9:35 AM ferry, which accommodates 120 cars to Lopez, or the 12:35 PM ferry, which takes 40-80 cars.
Note: There are no reservations off island — it’s first-come, first-served.
PARKING
Off-site parking with shuttle service and cargo vehicle for gear transport. Address will be provided upon ticket purchase. Carpooling and biking are encouraged.

Volunteer roles include site prep, shuttle drivers, parking attendants, front gate, and security. Volunteer for 6 hours and receive a weekend pass.

ABOUT ISLAND VERSE LITERARY COLLECTIVE
Island Verse Literary Collective weaves the San Juan archipelago together through written and spoken word, hosting performances, open mics, workshops, and creating pathways for island writers to be seen and heard. IVLC fosters literary events like Friday Harbor’s weekly open mic, bi‑monthly writers’ circles, and plans to launch a publishing house alongside its platform to nominate the first youth and adult Poet Laureates from the San Juan Islands.
